FFHA hosts ‘Girls’ Hockey Day’ [UPDATED]

Over 50 girls took the ice at the Fergus Falls Community Arena on Sunday, Oct. 14 to celebrate World Girls’ Hockey Day and to kick off this year’s girls’ hockey season.

Skaters from the girls’ high school team provided skill stations for girls registered in the termite, mite, 8U, 10U and 12U girls youth hockey program.

The event was sponsored by the Fergus Falls Hockey Association in conjunction with USA Hockey and the IIHF (International Ice Hockey Federation) to celebrate and promote Girls’ Hockey.
