Otter girls swimming close out dual season [UPDATED]

ST. CLOUD — The Fergus Falls girls swimming and diving team ended their dual season as they fell 110-76 to the St. Cloud Tech Tigers Tuesday.

Emilie Reard had the top performance of the meet for the Otters as she took two individual firsts in the 200 IM (2:28.99) and the 100 breaststroke (1:16.07).

Fergus’ Abby Fisher would also take a spot on the podium finishing with a 1:05.95 time for a first place finish in the 100 backstroke.

Reard and Fisher would add another first place finish as they joined teammates Emily Hexum and Dani Ross to win the 200 medley relay with a time of 2:00.14.

Reard, Fisher, Ross and Elise Anderson would add another medal position as they took runner-up honors in the 200 freestyle (1:47.27).

The Otters will now prepare for the Central Lakes Conference Championship meet held in Willmar Oct. 27.
