Liz is a 2004 graduate of Underwood High School and a graduate of Bethel University in St. Paul, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business, Accounting and Finance. She is currently employed as an accountant for Target Corporation in Minneapolis.

Jesse is a 2000 graduate of Dickinson High School. After serving for five years as an Infantryman in the U.S. Army, he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Maryland University College and his Master of Science degree in Accountancy from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul. He is currently employed by KPMG in Minneapolis as an auditor.

A Nov. 3, 2012, wedding is planned at Carlos Creek Winery in Alexandria.
