BRANDON — The Brandon-Evansville Chargers finished their regular season in dominating fashion as they defeated the Bertha-Hewitt Bears 34-0 Wednesday.
Brandon-Evansville scored the lone touchdown of the first half on a three yard rush by quarterback Billie Juul in the first quarter. After a Zack Henneman two point conversion run, the score stood at 8-0 entering the break.
The third quarter was became the Juul show as the quarterback found Craig Campbell for a 26 yard touchdown pass, rushed for a three yard touchdown run and huked another ball for a touchdown for 74 yards to Will Shroeder.
Jon Thoennes would ice the game the game for the Chargers as he broke a 68 yard run in the fourth quarter.
The Chargers rode Juul to the victory as he finished the evening going 5 for 8 with 110 yards and two touchdowns through the air and two rushing touchdowns.
“Today was a total team effort,” Charger coach Tim Pattrin said. “The boys did there jobs and worked as a team. They handled themselves in the tough environmental conditions and had fun in the mud. Very proud of them.”
The seventh seeded Chargers finish their season with a 3-5 record and will travel to take on two seeded Onamia at 7 p.m. Tuesday evening.
