Fight results in arrest

A Fergus Falls man was arrested for fourth degree assault, obstruction of justice, driving after revocation, fleeing and possession of marijuana with intent to distribute Thursday afternoon.

A vehicle without its tail lights on was pulled over near Second Street and Lincoln Avenue after the driver, Jason Danielski, 19, pulled out in front of an officer at about 6 p.m. Thursday.

The officer found a large bag of marijuana and scale in Danielski’s pocket. A physical altercation ensued when the officer was placing handcuffs on Danielski.

After getting the situation under control, the officer received several stitches due to an injury that resulted from the altercation.
