17-year-old injured in accident near NY Mills [UPDATED]

A 17-year-old was taken to the hospital Saturday afternoon after a crash near New York Mills.

Two Chevrolet pickups collided on Highway 10 about four miles southeast of New York Mills.

Reed Barthel, 17, of New York Mills collided with Marcus Little, 64, of Vergas after Little failed to yield before entering Highway 10 from 570th Avenue.

Barthel, driving east, broadsided Little before entering the ditch.

Barthel was taken by ambulance to Perham Memorial Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries, and Little suffered minor injuries.
