Police confirmed today four vehicle windows were broken by large rocks sometime Friday night or early Saturday morning.

Incidents were reported Saturday from the 400 block of West Douglas Avenue, the 800 block of North Union Avenue, the intersection of Beech and Vine and Woodland Heights.

One of the rocks was large enough to bend a steering wheel and break a center console after breaking through the driver’s side window of a vehicle.

Photos were taken at each scene, and at least one of the rocks will be tested for fingerprints.

Police said the vandalism appears to be random. The case is still under investigation.
