Westad promoted to rank of tech. sergeant [UPDATED]

Air Force Staff Sgt. Matthew W. Westad, a 2001 graduate of Parkers Prairie High School was promoted to the rank of technical sergeant in the U.S. Air Force.

Westad is a trainer development team subject matter expert assigned to the 628th Air Base Wing at Charleston Air Force Base, S.C. He has served in the military for 10 years.

He is the son of Lynn and Julie Westad of Parkers Prairie.
