The fire that destroyed a house near the Concord bridge Wednesday night has been confirmed as arson.

Investigators found patterns indicating some form of accelerant was used to start the fire, which appears to have been started from inside the house, investigators reported.

No arrests have been made, and the Fergus Falls Police Department, state fire marshal and Fergus Falls Fire Department are still investigating the case.

Anyone who has noticed suspicious activity in the area within the last week or two is encouraged to call 218-332-5555 and ask to speak with an investigator. A reward of an unknown amount has been announced for any information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the arsonist or arsonists.
