Superintendent Jerry Ness announced at Monday’s school board meeting that the IQ Academy will expand to kindergarten through fifth grade.

Beginning in January, students in all grade levels will have the opportunity to enroll in the online based school.

Ness said parents of students already enrolled in IQ Academy have expressed interest in getting their younger children into the online school.

He expects to see about 30 K through fifth grade students enroll right away and more than 100 at the beginning of next school year.
