My wife and I moved to Fergus Falls from Wahpeton 15 years ago. We have been pleased with our move. Fergus Falls is a charming community with many assets.

One of the community’s assets is a stable city government. l have been very interested, and perhaps a bit Critical, of government at the municipal level, having served are city councilman and then mayor of Wahpeton for seventeen years.

My impression of the government in our community has been favorable. The government functions well at all levels. Mayor Hal Leland has fulfilled his duties and responsibilities very well.

Business and industry is attracted to a community with a good infrastructure. Mayor Leland has been a great supporter of improvements in our infrastructure. He is an effective leader of the city council.

He represents our community very well at public functions.

I support Hal Leland’s bid for re-election as mayor.
