NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the general election has been called and will be held in and for Independent School District No. 544, (Fergus Falls Public Schools), State of Minnesota, on Tuesday, the 6th day of November, 2012, for the purpose of electing three (3) school board members for four (4) year terms.  The ballot shall provide as follows:

The annual election is hereby called and directed to be held on the 6th day of November, 2012.  The polls for said election will be open between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. in the Cities of Fergus Falls, Dalton and Elizabeth. The polls for said election will be open between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. in the following townships: Aurdal, Buse, Dane Prairie, Elizabeth, Fergus Falls, Friberg, Oscar, Sverdrup, Tumuli and Western. The polls for said election will be open between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. in the following townships: Aastad, Carlisle, Orwell and Akron – Wilkin County.

Polling places for the cities and townships of Independent School District No. 544 shall be:

Any eligible voter residing in the school district may vote at said election at the polling place designated above for the precinct in which he or she resides.
A voter must be registered to vote to be eligible to vote in this election.  An unregistered individual may register to vote at the polling place on election day.
