INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT NO. 544
(FERGUS FALLS PUBLIC SCHOOLS)
STATE OF MINNESOTA
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that a special election has been called and will be held in conjunction with the state general election in and for Independent School District No. 544 (Fergus Falls Public Schools), State of Minnesota, on Tuesday, November 6, 2012, for the purpose of voting on the following question:
SCHOOL DISTRICT BALLOT QUESTION 1
APPROVAL OF SCHOOL DISTRICT
BOND ISSUE
BY VOTING “YES” ON THIS BALLOT QUESTION, YOU ARE VOTING FOR A
PROPERTY TAX INCREASE
The annual election is hereby called and directed to be held on the 6th day of November, 2012. The polls for said election will be open between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. in the Cities of Fergus Falls, Dalton and Elizabeth. The polls for said election will be open between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. in the following townships: Aurdal, Buse, Dane Prairie, Elizabeth, Fergus Falls, Friberg, Oscar, Sverdrup, Tumuli and Western. The polls for said election will be open between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. in the following townships: Aastad, Carlisle, Orwell and Akron – Wilkin County.
Polling places for the cities and townships of Independent School District No. 544 shall be:

Any eligible voter residing in the school district may vote at said election at the polling place designated above for the precinct in which he or she resides.
A voter must be registered to vote to be eligible to vote in this election. An unregistered individual may register to vote at the polling place on election day.
