HENNING — The Henning Hornets were able to move past the Brandon-Evansville Chargers with a three set sweep (25–17, 25-22, 27-25) in the Section 6A playoffs Friday.

“We knew we were going to have to play extremely well tonight to play with a team like Henning,” Charger coach Kelly Olson said. “We just came up short in some tight sets and ended up on the short end tonight.”

Caroline Jensen led the Chargers with 12 kills, while teammate Kinsley Randt recorded 36 set assists in the game.

The Chargers finish their season with a 9-18-3 record.
