5 Comet boys named all-conference

The Hillcrest Comet boys soccer team had five players named to the Lakes to Prairie All-Conference team.

Senior Luis Martinez, juniors Chris Pelligrino and Daniel Romarheim, and sophomores Kevin and Chris Franco received all-conference recognition.

For Martinez, this was his second all-conference award.

Also receiving recognition was sophomore midfielder Eduardo Urbano as he was named an honorable mention to the squad.

The Comets finished the season with a 11-3-2 record, losing to St. Cloud Cathedral in the Section 8A semi-finals.
