Truck destroyed by fire in rollover [UPDATED]

The driver of a pickup that rolled and was destroyed by a fire fled the scene after the accident that occurred near Dalton Monday.

The adult male driver was not the registered owner of the vehicle may have suffered injuries but is avoiding law enforcement.

The Dodge Dakota pickup rolled several times into a ditch at 130th Street and 215th Avenue before catching fire.

The driver has been identified by law enforcement but was not found at the scene. The case is under investigation.

The Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Department and Dalton Fire Department responded to the fire.
