During the special resource management deer hunt Nov. 3-6, Maplewood State Park will remain open, but visitors are advised to wear blaze orange if they visit while the hunt is in progress, the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources (DNR) said.

Visitors should also check for hunt-related information at the park office when they arrive or details on which areas of each park will be affected by the special deer hunts are included in the “Visitor Alert!” boxes on the individual park Web pages at mndnr.gov/parksandtrails.
