Leland helps senior citizens [UPDATED]

Published 11:16am Thursday, November 1, 2012 Updated 1:18pm Thursday, November 1, 2012

Mayor Hal Leland shows a genuine interest in Senior Citizen issues and he has demonstrated this with his support for our Senior Citizens Center and its programs which play an important role in the lives of this aging population. We can enjoy a place to socialize, a nutritious meal, and are encouraged and given the opportunity to lead a healthy lifestyle.

Hal is also especially concerned and supportive of the long term care and assisted living facilities that are available in the Fergus Falls area. These facilities and programs are state of the art and assure all our seniors a life style that is the envy of many communities.

Mayor Leland concerns aren’t only for Senior Citizens, however. He has demonstrated the need for jobs and businesses that will bring workers and families to our community and schools. His years of experience and commitment to education give hope that we can bring our children and grand children back to the community to work and raise their families.

He focuses on doing what is best for all. His ability to manage this huge task with integrity, openness, and common sense will make Fergus Falls a better place for every one. Please join me in voting for Mayor Hal Leland for re-election on Nov. 6.
