Voters deserve better than hostile dialogue from Skogen campaign [UPDATED]
Published 11:09am Thursday, November 1, 2012 Updated 1:11pm Thursday, November 1, 2012As we head towards the conclusion of the election season, sometimes the rhetoric and dialogue can become increasingly hostile.
This may stem from a variety of reasons ranging from our passion for a particulars issue to the countless hours we have spent on the campaign trail. But I am “unapologetically condemning” the latest attacks from my opponent, I have worked with the former senator While we were colleagues in the Minnesota Senate. I thought of him to be an honest man, but I am surprise at the level of negativity his campaign is
bringing to this election. That is why I find these latest attacks from him are outrageous and we deserve better.
That is not the campaign I am running. I refuse to sink to their level of gutter politics being peddled. I am talking about the issues that impact our daily lives and my steadfast commitment to growing jobs and strengthening Minnesota’s economy. I will not play these divisive political games and my resolve to get Minnesota Working again has never been stronger.
We have serious problems facing us and they require serious leaders to solve them.
That is my focus.
My campaign is of innovative ideas, bold leadership and a prosperous future.
Baseless and misleading character assassinations have no place in elections and reflect a huge lack of credibility.
There is so much more that unites us as Minnesotans than divides us. I am proud to be running a respectable campaign, with the same integrity l displayed as Sheriff and Senator.
