Burned house torn down [UPDATED]
Published 11:31am Friday, November 2, 2012 Updated 11:40am Monday, November 5, 2012The house near the Concord bridge that was destroyed by a fire Oct. 17 was torn down Thursday.
The house owned by city council member Randy Synstelien, but nobody was living in the house at the time of the fire. No damage to surrounding buildings or injuries were reported.
Because of patterns that indicate an accelerant was used and unusual circumstances, investigators have confirmed arson was the cause of the fire.
Investigators have not reported having any suspects at this time.
Heavy machinery was used to tear the house down Thursday before the rubble was loaded into large dumpsters to be hauled away.
