The public is invited to attend an open house meeting on Wednesday, Nov. 7, to discuss a transportation study and comprehensive planning project currently underway in Wadena.

The meeting is scheduled from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the Minnesota State Community and Technical College cafeteria, 405 Colfax Ave. SW, Wadena, Minn. A formal presentation will begin at 6 p.m.

The meeting is an opportunity for the public to review and provide input on a proposed future land use plan, comprehensive plan strategies, traffic forecasts, future traffic operations and possible future roadway improvements.

This open house is the second of three public meetings that will be conducted during the study. Project representatives from the city of Wadena, Wadena and Otter Tail counties and the Minnesota Department of Transportation will be available to respond to comments and questions.

The planning project will prepare a 20-year comprehensive plan and a transportation plan for state highways in and around Wadena.
