M State volleyballers receive honors

The M State Spartans received several post season honors after winning the Region XIII title.

Gretchen Freed (libero) was named to the All-State 1st team, while sophomore Christine Moenkedick (outside hitter) was named to the second team.

Freed and Moenkedick also received All-Southern Division first team honors, while sophomore Morgan Kapphahn landed on the second team.

Freed, sophomore Andrea Christenson and freshman Cheyenne O’Neal were all named to All-Region XIII Tournament team.

The M State volleyball team will travel to Rochester to participate in the NJCAA Division III Friday.
