Rothsay bar burglarized [UPDATED]

A burglary alarm alerted the Wilkin County Sheriff’s Office of a break in at the Rothsay Power House this morning.

Law enforcement arrived and found the door forced open along with cash and checks missing. Although an exact value has not been released, it is believed more than $1,000 was taken.

The Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office is assisting with the investigation.
