Perham Grad appointed to UNESCO [UPDATED]

The prestigious United Nations Educational Scientific and Cultural Organization has a new member.

Patrick Mendis was appointed to UNESCO. Mendis was a foreign exchange student at Perham High School in the late 1070s, and has maintained ties in the community.

The commission is a federal advisory committee at the Department of State, providing advice regarding the U.S. government’s activities.
