While many parents are familiar with Dr. Bill Sears as a famous pediatrician, his extensive practice also focuses on family wellness from birth to end of life.

Monday, Dr. Sears will present “Top Health Tips for All Ages.”

The presentation will be at 7 p.m. Monday in Legacy Hall at M State-Fergus Falls.

“He has tangible ideas to age and age gracefully, and will be speaking to different phases of life ,” said event organizer Vicki Jensen, a national marketing director for NSA/Juice Plus. “Not only is Dr. Sears a very well-known pediatrician, he is in his 70s, and had a cancer issue himself in his 60s.”

William Sears, M.D. has been advising busy parents on how to raise healthier families for over 35 years.

He received his pediatric training at Harvard Medical School’s Children’s Hospital in Boston and the Hospital for Sick

Children in Toronto, and currently serves as an associate clinical professor of pediatrics at the University of California, Irvine School of Medicine. Together with his wife and co-author Martha, Dr. Sears has written more than 30 best-selling books and countless articles on parenting and childcare. He serves as medical and parenting consultant for Baby Talk and Parenting magazines, his Ask Dr. Sears website, and has appeared on over 100 television programs including 20/20 and Good Morning America.

“It’s incredible that we are able to bring in someone of Dr. Sear’s caliber for this event,” said Jensen. “NSA/Juice Plus gives me an opportunity to bring in a national speaker twice a year, and I was very excited that Dr. Sears was able to come.”

NSA/Juice Plus and M State are sponsoring the event.

The event is free and open to the public. For more information contact Vicki Jensen at 218-739-4706.
