Lake Region Healthcare’s (LRH) employee outreach team “Together We Serve” has partnered with multiple programs to provide donations for individuals in need this holiday season. The team is coordinating donations for “Salvation Army Toy Shop” and “Toys for Tots.”

“We [Lake Region Healthcare] are proud of our employees’ efforts to partner with such great organizations, especially during the holiday season. Being able to help make a difference for individuals in our community is really what we all strive to do every day, so this is a great opportunity to help even more people,” said LRH CEO Larry Schulz.

Donation items needed include new toys or gifts for children and teenagers. Monetary donations are also accepted and will be used to supplement the areas of greatest need.

Donation boxes are located throughout LRH facilities (the hospital lobby and café, LRH Clinic Services, Walk-In Clinic, Cancer Care & Research Center, Mill Street Residence, Athletic Republic, Revenue Cycle offices, Battle Lake Clinic, Ashby Clinic and the entrance to Dialysis and Phatty Nattie’s).

Those donating are asked to mark the donation if there is a program preference. Items will be collected until Dec. 10. Please contact Mary Walvatne at 736-8610 or Leah Watkins at 736-8663 with any questions.
