Nobody was hurt in a fuel truck fire Thursday that was called in from United Oil, two miles north of Wyndmere.

The Wyndmere Fire Department responded and put the fire out before it could spread to the fuel portion of the truck. The fire was contained to the engine, but the vehicle was totaled due to extensive damage to the engine compartment and smoke and water damage to the cab.

The vehicle is owned by Cenex Harvest States of St. Paul. The fire is still under investigation.
