OTTER TAIL COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS

October 23, 2012

The Otter Tail County Board of Commissioners:

1. Called to order the Otter Tail County Board of Commissioners meeting at 9:30 AM.

2. Approved payment of the County Board bills as follows.

3. Approved Otter Tail County Resolution No. 2012-57. (November – Adoption Month)

4. Approved 31 Human Services contracts.

5. Approved payment of the Human Services bills and claims as presented.

6. Appointed David Wass of rural Underwood to serve on the Otter Tail County Planning Commission effective January 1, 2013 for a three year term.

7. Held a Public Hearing for the Big McDonald LID.

8. Directed the County Attorney to draft an Order
for Establishment of the Big McDonald Lake LID.

9. Approved removal and repair the outlet on Sewell Lake which is the inlet of main Branch B on County Ditch #70 with installation of 12” pipe and to authorize clean-out of about 100’ on the north side of Sewell Lake.

10. Approved Otter Tail County Resolution No.  2012-58. (Archeological Work associated with Ottertail Trail).

11. Approved, with no waiting period, the LG220 Application for Exempt Permit as submitted by Kinship of the Perham Area for an event scheduled for Saturday, February 9, 2013 at Zorbaz on Little Pine Lake.

12. Approved, with no waiting period, the LG220 Application for Exempt Permit as submitted by Perham Lakes Lions Club for an event scheduled for Friday, February 8, 2013 at The Cactus.

13. Approved Change Order #3 for Phase 1 of the Courthouse Remodeling project (#1119), in the amount of $18,750.65, payable to Comstock Construction Inc.

14. Approved to increase the Benefit/Insurance Employer Contribution $25.00 per month for the non-union group effective January 1, 2013.

15. Authorized Commissioners’ attendance at the Association of Minnesota Counties meeting scheduled Friday, October 26, 2012 in Todd County.
