Superintendent Jerry Ness reported that he met Tuesday with the Education and Finance Task Force in Minneapolis about next year’s budget plan.

“We need to make sure schools are funded properly so we can plan,” said Ness.

Ness will return to work with the task force Nov. 27 before the budget is forwarded to the Legislature and Governor for approval.

Ness also reported that he is participating in a new TV show at Park Region Telcom. The “Otter” TV show is produced Friday mornings at 7:30 a.m., and Ness invited board members to join him on the show to discuss issues or events in education.
