Bulldogs receive post season awards

The Otter Tail Central Bulldogs handed out their annual post season awards recently.

Bulldog linebacker Zach Torgerson received several awards at the banquet including Academic All-State, All-Section 6AA team, All-Conference in the Prairie North, Most valuable defensive player and defensive back in the conference and most valuable player on his team.

Also receiving nods for All-Section included Jake Trosdahl and Andrew Smith, while teammates Tyler Ukkelberg and Dan Marso also joined them on the All-Conference team.

Other awards handed out included Most Valuable offensive back (Trosdahl), Most Valuable defensive back (Smith), Most Valuable defensive lineman (Ukkelberg), Most Valuable offensive lineman (Marso), Most Improved Player (Boston Heaford and Nick Trodahl), Most Valuable freshman (Tony Ukkelberg) and Most Valuable JV player and Practice player (Kaleb Thalmann).

The Bulldogs finished their season with a 7-3 record.
