A man was issued a summons after fleeing law enforcement near New York Mills Wednesday evening.

An Otter Tail County law enforcement vehicle attempted to pull a driver over for speeding at about 8 p.m. Instead of moving to the side of the road, the driver pulled into a farmyard and fled on foot.

The man was found this morning and issued a summons after he acknowledged his attempt to flee. His vehicle was impounded in New York Mills.
