A Pelican Rapids man was taken to Perham Health Thursday for injuries to his face and shoulder after he fell from a roof.

At about 4:15 p.m., the Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call of a man who had fallen off a roof just east of North Lida Lake.

The man was working as a contractor and building a home at the time of the accident. While moving boards, he lost his footing and fell about 20 feet.

The man was responsive at the scene, and the extent of his injuries are unknown at this time. Dent rescue assisted at the scene.
