Chargers hand out post season awards

The Brandon-Evansville Charger volleyball team handed out their post season awards recently as they named two All-Little Eight Conference players and three honorable mentions.

Megan Friedrich (OH) and Megan Kokett (libero) were named All-Conference, while teammates Kinsley Randt (setter), Caroline Jansen (outside hitter), and Sophomore Emma Friedrich (middle hitter) each earned honorable mention.

Kokett was also named MVP of the team, while Friedrich earned the Heart and Desire award.

Emma Friedrich received Most Improved Player and Anna Lundeen took home the Leadership award.

The Chargers ended their season with a 9-18-3 record, exiting in the second round of the Section 6A playoffs.
