The Lakeland Hospice Foundation has a special way for people to remember or honor a loved one that has passed away — with an angel. For a $5 donation, people can attach an angel bearing a loved one’s name or a special memory on a Christmas tree, wall or window in area businesses.

“The holidays can be hard when families have lost someone,” said Tammy Anderson from Lakeland Hospice. “This is a special way to remember a loved one.” Angel trees went up over Thanksgiving weekend at Lakeland Hospice, Security State Bank and Bremer Bank in Fergus Falls, and Dean’s Country Market in Perham.

Several area churches also have angel trees. Angel trees are a fundraiser for Lakeland Hospice Foundation, to help support compassionate end of life care to families, friends and neighbors in local communities. If you would like to partner with the Lakeland Hospice Foundation to put up an angel tree in your business call, Tammy Anderson at 218-998-1423 or email Tammy.Anderson@lbhomes.org
