OSAKIS — The Brandon Evansville Lady Chargers opened up their season this Tuesday night, they fought hard but ended up dropping the game 61-34.

The Silverstreaks of Osakis have always had a good team and are well coached, they came out ready to play.

Brandon Evansville struggled from the field finishing the game shooting 26 percent from the floor.

The Chargers were led by Megan Fredrick who netted 10 points and Megan Kokett chipped in with nine.

“We did not shoot well from any spot on the floor at all, the girls played hard and battled to the last minute,” Charger coach Dick Simpson said. “Osakis is a good basketball team and was ready for tonight’s game.”
