Alexienne Chorus to perform Dec. 2 [UPDATED]

The Alexienne Chorus Chapter of Sweet Adelines International will perform their annual Christmas Concert, Alexiennes Do Christmas at 2 p.m. on Sunday, at Calvary Lutheran Church, 605 Douglas Street, Alexandria. Free will offering will be accepted.

Sweet Adelines’ choruses feature ladies a cappella harmony in the barbershop-style music in four parts: bass, baritone, lead, and tenor.

Music selections performed in barbershop-style range from pop and modern to country/folk, inspirational and nearly any genre of music in between.

Current members of the Alexienne Chorus are from Alexandria, Barrett, Brandon, Carlos, Evansville, Herman, Hoffman, Starbuck, Parkers Prairie, and Wadena.
