Eagle Lake Choir to present ‘The Wondrous Story’ [UPDATED]
Published 9:19am Thursday, November 29, 2012 Updated 11:23am Thursday, November 29, 2012The Eagle Lake Lutheran Church Cantata Choir will present the Christmas Cantata, “The Wondrous Story,” written by Nancy Price and Don Besig.
The Cantata will be presented 7 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 1 and 10:15 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 2, at Eagle Lake Lutheran Church, 15456 County Highway 81, in Battle Lake.
The choir will also present the cantata at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 5, for the residents at the Battle Lake Good Samaritan Center.
The cantata tells the wonderful story of our Savior’s birth in a reverent, simple way, focusing on the perspective of those who were present on that holy night.
The choir hopes to capture the boundless joy of Christmas for all who hear this marvelous story in music and word.
Everyone is invited to attend one of the performances.
