Welcome the Christmas season with local fun-loving favorites Wendy Erlandson, Linda Mellon and friends for their holiday show, “Go Tell It.” at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 7, at the Fergus Theatre, 124 W. Lincoln Ave. Tickets are $15 for adults and $5 for students/children. For more information or to purchase tickets by phone or on line, contact us at 998-998-ARTS (2787) or www.FergusArts.org.

This show will be a lot of fun, with a few tugs on the heart strings as well, and is the perfect way to welcome another Christmas season.

Wendy and Linda have been delighting audiences around the area for years. This year the ever-popular duo is joined by Rob Johnson, David Stoddard on piano and guitar, John Hatling on drums, Joe Barnett on bass, and Elizabeth Hatling on violin/fiddle.

The music for this holiday show will include familiar Christmas tunes (some with unexpected twists), some not-so-familiar holiday tunes, and as always lots of fun and surprises. Songs will include ones by Kathy Mattea, Sara Bareilles, Harry Connick, Jr., Mary Chapin Carpenter, Selah, and more.

“To have a place like A Center for the Arts is truly amazing,” says Linda about performing at the Center. “Where else could two local gals have so much fun singing with their friends?”

As “local gals,” Wendy (Hanson) Erlandson grew up in the Dalton area, Linda (Johnson) Mellon grew up in the Fergus area, and both attended school in Fergus Falls. Both also started singing at a very young age.
