High-speed chase, crash in Alexandria [UPDATED]

No serious injuries were reported in high speed chase through Alexandria that ended in a crash Tuesday.

An officer stopped Talia Rae Hoffman, 21, of Alexandria for a burnt out taillight at around 8 p.m. Hoffman sped away and was briefly pursued by the officer before the chase was called off.

The officer then saw Hoffman drive into a yard where she nearly struck another squad car.
