Lake Region Healthcare (LRH) has expanded its medical team resulting in more specialties services available through the health care provider. Six individuals joined the medical staff in 2012, with plans to hire additional staff in 2013.
“The past few years have garnered really positive growth for Lake Region Healthcare. Not only have we expanded our facilities, but we’ve added such a wonderful pool of talent to our already exceptional medical team,” said LRH CEO Larry Schulz. “The additions we’ve made to our staff will really allow our patients to have increased access to a greater variety of specialty care.”

LRH attributes its increase in staff to the opening of the Fergus Falls Walk-In Clinic, the New Joint Care Center for orthopedics and an increase in patient needs for geriatrics, psychiatry and internal medicine.

“We’re on the grow, and we’re constantly advancing. Bringing in new medical professionals with different past experiences, varying skill sets, and unique specialties is just one more way we are providing our patients with expert care right here close to their homes,” Schulz said.

Joining the LRH medical team this year were Sandra McGaughey, PA-C (Walk-In Clinic); Jill Baldwin, PA-C (Geriatric Medicine); David, Mach, DO (Psychiatry); Erin Peterson, MD (Internal Medicine and Hospitalist); Dariush Orandi, MD (Internal Medicine and Hospitalist); and Kory Nordick, PA-C (Orthopedics).

LRH has more than 75 medical professionals on staff, with more than 800 employees in addition to those professionals.
