HLA boys soccer banquet awards

The Hillcrest Comets handed out their post season awards Friday as they saw five members receive All-Conference nods.

Chris Franco, Kevin Franco, Luis Martinez, Daniel Romarheim and Chris Pelligrino were named to the Lakes to Prairie All-Conference team, while Eduardo Urbano was given honorable mention to the team.

Romarheim was named team offensive MVP, while Chris Franco took home defensive MVP.

Joey Coronado (Rookie of the Year), Quincy Undseth (Spark Plug Award), Jose Stender, Trevor Leach and Martinez (Team Leadership Award) and Morgan Jennen (Manager of the Year) also received awards at the banquet.

The Comets finished their season with 11-3-2 record.
