Kaeli Dorn, Human Resource Officer at The First National Bank of Henning, Ottertail and Battle Lake, presented $1861.61 for the benefit of breast cancer research to Jason Bergstrom, of the Lake Region Cancer Care and Research Center in Fergus Falls.

Dorn presented the funds on behalf of all employees of First National Bank of Henning, Ottertail and Battle Lake.

Funds were raised as a result of bake sales held in the bank offices every Friday during the month of October, National Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

First National Bank employees baked the goods that were sold at each location.

“It was important to our employees that these funds be donated locally,” said Dorn.

“Our employees understand the importance of teaming up as a community to help out one another. We are pleased that our funds will be used to help give cancer patients and their families options closer to home.”
