A son, Ethan Michael was born Nov. 14, 2012, to Tim and Kayla Kovar of Fergus Falls. He weighed 8 pounds, 2 ounces and was 22 inches long. Grandparents are Mike and Laurie Rud of Fergus Falls, Dan and Jane Kovar of Deer Creek.

Great-grandparents are Marvin and Phyllis Kuhlman of Lakeville, Dennis and Darleen Wendt of Deer Creek and Dick and Faye Kovar of Wadena.

Great-great-grandparents are Glen and Irene Greewaldt of Deer Creek.
