Greg Elmer Anderson, 62, of Richville, died Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2012, at the VA Hospital in Fargo.
Greg was born Dec. 2, 1950, in Fergus Falls, to Jerome “Shorty” and Darlene (Whipps) Anderson.
He was a veteran of the United States Air Force serving four years. He retired from Marks Sand & Gravel in 2007.
If Greg wasn’t working, he was out fishing and hunting. He also enjoyed making fish decoys for most of his life.
He loved cooking and baking for his family and friends. Greg had huge heart and always tried to help people in need.
Surviving Greg are his daughters, Marie (Tom) Mueller of Wisconsin and Andrea (Jay) Monson of Richville, Minnesota; grandchildren, Riley, Logan, Jessie, Toni, Joseph, Odessa, and Isabelle; his mother, Darlene; four sisters, Dixie Enyart of Richville, Minnesota, Renee Anderson of Minneapolis, Minnesota, Cossette Grant of Park Rapids, Minnesota and Lanette (Darby) Nietzert of Frazee; step-children, Jeramy Anderson, Sabrina Toso and Samantha Stodola; along with many nieces and nephews.
Preceding Greg  in death is his father; wife, Linda Anderson; brother, Bruce Anderson; brother-in-law, Gordy Enyart; step father, Floyd Grant; and best friend, Ronnie Leitch.
Memorials preferred to the family.
A memorial service is planned at 2 p.m. Friday, at United Methodist Church in Richville.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.
Schoeneberger Funeral Home in Perham is in charge of arrangements.
