Kaddatz plans icy plunge to raise funds for arts

Art enthusiasts might dive for da Vinci, hop for Homer, or even jump for Jasper Johns, but in February, they will plunge for local art during an unusual fundraising event to support the Kaddatz Galleries in Fergus Falls.
The ARTic Plunge is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 3, during the community’s annual Frostbite Festival.             Organizers hope to raise funds from the event for educational programming and exhibitions held by the Kaddatz Galleries.
Beginning at 11:30 a.m., plunge participants will hop through a hole cut in the ice and into the icy waters of Pebble Lake.
