WHEATON — A rough start saw the Battle Lake boys suffer their first loss of the season as the Wheaton/Herman-Norcross Warriors claimed a 64-49 home win.

The Warriors were able to jump out to an 30-16 half-time lead.

It was too late for the Battlers to make a dent in the score as they took the loss.

Dan Marso led the Battlers with 18 points, while teammate Petric Van Erp added 10 tallies.

The Battlers will look to bounce back as they host Little Eight Conference and Hwy 210 rival Underwood Tuesday at 7:30 p.m.
