Clitherall swears in first female mayor

Mary Murphy was recently sworn in as the first woman mayor of Clitherall, according to the Battle Lake Review.

The owner of Murphy’s Adult Foster Care, she said a priority would be to ensure the city’s money will be used wisely in light of declining Local Government Aid, and she would make sure residents’ views are heard.
