FF 12U girls trounce Moorhead

The Fergus Falls 12U girls hockey team sponsored by Scot’s Machine Shop traveled to Moorhead on Saturday to face-off with the Moorhead 12U B team.

The scoring started with Moorhead notching the first and only goal of the first period to take a 1-0 after one.

Fergus Falls took over the game in the second and third periods scoring four goals in the second and five goals in the third period cruising to a 9-1 victory.

Sophie Rausch led the scoring with four goals and one assist, Alex McKinnell tallied two goals and three assists, Hallie Sheridan chipped in with two goals,

Lauren Werner was a playmaker with three assists, and Amy Johnson netted one goal.

Goaltender Elaina Toppari held Moorhead to one goal through the first half of the game and Jadyn McKeever shut them out for the second half of the game.
