EVANSVILLE — The Brandon/Evansville boys basketball team was tough on the boards and it showed in the score box as they defeated Parkers Prairie 55-37 Tuesday.

The B/E boys held on to a nine point lead at half, but were able to turn up the heat on the Panthers in the second half as they cruised to a Little Eight Conference win.

John Haseman had a great night for the Chargers as he scored 27 points and had 17 rebounds. Teammate Hunger Arnold chipped in 10 points in the victory.

The Chargers make the rebound game significant to the outcome as they pulled down 42 rebounds, 12 more than their visitor.

The Chargers will be back in action Thursday as they travel to take on the Underwood Rockets in a 7:30 p.m. LEC game.
