He was born in Indianapolis, Ind., and raised in Wadena.
Warren served in the U.S. Army in the Korean War from 1952-1954.
He worked for 35 years at the Post Office in Wadena, retiring as Postmaster in 1989.
Warren will be remembered for his kindness, exceptional memory, and ability to fix “anything”!
He was active with VFW, Elks, Rotary, American Legion, was a scoutmaster in Wadena. He loved music, history and spending time with his wife Sally, kids, and grandkids at his lake home on Blanche Lake.
He was active in his retirement — splitting time between Minnesota, Colorado and Texas.
Warren was preceded in death by his first wife, Lorraine (Flicek) Gaslin (1998); and his brother Ted Gaslin (2011).
He is survived by Sally, whom he married April 8, 2000; his sister, Mary (Ron) Klemetson; and a brother, Bill (Mary) Gaslin; and his children, Ted Gaslin, Lori Rentz, Thom (Bonnie) Gaslin, and Tim (Elaine) Gaslin.
He loved his eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

A memorial service was held on Dec. 8, at Shepherd of the Hills Presbyterian Church, Lakewood, .
